Project Description:

TMCx Solutions, LLC was contracted by Clark County School District to provide Construction Phase commissioning for the CCSD Laura Dearing ES Classroom Addition project. This project is a 27,772 square foot 2-story space.

Scope of Work:

TMCx provided Fundamental Commissioning services for the construction phase. We conducted functional testing and pre-functional test verifications in accordance with Clark County School District Commissioning Requirements. TMCx provided ongoing commissioning of the systems using Automatic Fault Detection and Diagnostics software

Challenges and Successe

  • Issue: Initially the BAS outside air temperature sensor displayed as 113 degrees when theactual outsideair was 94°F.

          Resolution: The controls contractor relocated the outside air sensor and it now functions as expected.

  • Issue: The equipment rooms did not have a high temp alarm installed in the BAS program as specified in the design documents.

          Resolution: The controls contractor installed the sensors and high temperature alarms to be indicated on the BAS graphics.
