Challenges and Successes

  • Issue: TMCx witnessed that the BAS did not identify differential pressure reset parameters. The programming was also missing the inputs from the chilled water valves at AHU’s allowing for the DP reset to function.

Resolution: The controls contractor states that the SOO programming is existing and will be changed by an energy management company. The controls contractor has programmed the differential pressure reset based on BTUs.

  • Issue: TMCx witnessed that the water flow meter was installed at a “T” fitting, causing inaccurate water flow measurements.

Resolution: The water  flow meter has been pulled out of the pipe to be relocated, and appears to have a bend in the sensor shaft. A new flow meter has been installed.
