Done is a relative term. Especially when considered by the different perspectives of construction. When asked, “Is it Done?”, the response depends on the task for which the person is responsible. On most occasions, the response is “Yes” and it is assumed that the system as a whole is complete. However, after further investigation, this is found to be incorrect due to a lack of coordination and communication.
As your advocate, we are trained to see things from a big picture perspective as in addition to the details. We coordinate with the construction team, verify and document field activities with checklists, and communicate action items to be resolved. This results in building systems that are complete and functional. This is what we call DONE DONE!
